A useful 90-day manufacturing marketing plan should improve the path from technical search or referral to qualified enquiry, quote and order. Traffic growth on its own is not the objective.
Days 1–30: fix the foundation
- Map priority products, processes, materials, sectors and geographic markets.
- Define what makes an enquiry commercially viable: specification, quantity, tolerance, lead time, location or accreditation requirements.
- Audit capability pages, RFQ forms, tracking and CRM stages.
- Identify search demand for high-value commercial intent.
Days 31–60: capture demand
- Improve or create high-intent service and capability pages.
- Launch tightly scoped paid-search tests where conversion tracking is reliable.
- Add proof such as equipment, certifications, tolerances, sectors served and genuine project evidence.
- Connect forms and calls to a clear sales follow-up workflow.
Days 61–90: optimise commercially
Review which sources create qualified RFQs, quotes and won work. Remove irrelevant demand, improve weak landing pages and shift budget towards campaigns or pages that produce commercially suitable opportunities.
Useful KPIs include qualified enquiry rate, RFQ-to-quote rate, quote-to-order rate, response time and cost per acquired account. See our manufacturing SEO checklist and manufacturing marketing page for the supporting channel work.
