A website redesign and a landing page solve different retail problems. Redesign when the problem affects the whole customer journey. Use landing pages when the core website works but a campaign, launch, promotion or audience needs a more focused route to purchase.
Choose a redesign when
- Category and product discovery are poor
- Mobile shopping or checkout is difficult
- Product data and templates are inconsistent
- The platform limits tracking, merchandising or integrations
- Problems affect multiple channels and campaigns
Choose landing pages when
- You are launching a product or seasonal campaign
- Paid traffic needs campaign-specific messaging
- You want to test an offer or audience quickly
- A promotion needs a focused route into products or checkout
For ecommerce, the landing page still needs accurate stock, pricing, product information and a clean path into checkout. Measure revenue and contribution, not form conversions in isolation.
