Rank and be discovered
Improves crawlability, indexation, relevance, authority and organic visibility in conventional search results. It remains the foundation.
Vistoplex helps businesses become discoverable, citable and accurately represented across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and other AI-led search experiences. We combine technical SEO, entity clarity, citation-ready content, digital authority and measurable AI visibility into one commercial GEO programme.
Your brand is relevant but not consistently selected. Competitors are being cited because their category positioning, third-party corroboration and service evidence are easier for retrieval systems to verify.

Generative engine optimisation is the disciplined work of improving whether AI-led search systems can find your business, understand what it does, trust the evidence around it, cite the right pages and represent the brand accurately when users ask commercial questions.
Traditional SEO earns discoverability. A page still needs to be crawlable, indexable, relevant and authoritative enough to enter the retrieval set. Google explicitly states that its established SEO fundamentals remain the foundation for AI Overviews and AI Mode.
GEO expands the outcome. Ranking is no longer the only objective. The brand must also be selected as supporting evidence, cited in an answer, recommended in a shortlist and described accurately enough to influence a buying decision.
The work happens on and off your website. Your pages provide first-party evidence. Reviews, industry publications, directories, partner sites, expert commentary and other independent sources corroborate it. AI systems often need both before they are confident enough to recommend a business.
This is why a serious generative engine optimisation agency must combine technical SEO, content strategy, entity architecture, digital PR, analytics and experimentation rather than sell a separate “AI content” package.
Improves crawlability, indexation, relevance, authority and organic visibility in conventional search results. It remains the foundation.
Structures useful, concise answers for featured snippets, voice search and answer-led interfaces. It overlaps heavily with content and on-page SEO.
Extends SEO into AI-generated answers by improving retrievability, entity confidence, evidence, corroboration and measurable brand visibility.
Most businesses do not have an “AI wording” problem. They have a retrieval, evidence or authority problem that becomes visible when an answer engine has to choose only a handful of sources and recommendations.
Crawler blocks, weak internal linking, JavaScript-only content, indexation problems and poor information architecture prevent strong evidence from entering the candidate set.
Names, categories, locations, service descriptions, leadership details and credentials vary across the website and third-party sources, reducing machine confidence.
Generic articles that repeat definitions already available on thousands of pages give an AI system no reason to cite your version.
Your own website says you are excellent. The wider web does not provide enough credible evidence to verify expertise, relevance or customer outcomes.
Pricing, process, eligibility, locations, proof and limitations are separated or vague. The system cannot assemble a confident commercial answer without filling gaps.
One prompt, one model and one successful answer proves almost nothing. Without repeated testing, competitor comparison and conversion tracking, progress cannot be separated from noise.
Vistoplex does not treat generative SEO as a content-only service. We address the complete path from crawl access and retrieval through to citation, recommendation, brand accuracy and commercial measurement.
We build a commercial prompt universe around the questions buyers ask before choosing, comparing or rejecting providers, then test visibility across priority AI engines.
We confirm that search and AI retrieval crawlers can access the pages that matter, and that the site presents important information in stable, indexable, machine-readable HTML.
We make your organisation, services, people, locations, credentials and relationships consistent enough for search systems to resolve as one trustworthy entity.
We create and improve content that gives answer engines something precise, useful and defensible to cite: original evidence, clear definitions, comparisons, methods, pricing and decision criteria.
We strengthen the independent source layer that corroborates your positioning through digital PR, expert contributions, relevant directories, partnerships and review strategy.
We repeat the query set, track competitor movement, validate citations and connect referral and assisted-conversion signals to the work completed each month.
| Workstream | Deliverables | Commercial purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Query intelligence | Prompt universe, competitor benchmark, platform testing, citation-source map | Identify where buyers use AI to compare providers and which competitors currently occupy the answer |
| Technical eligibility | Crawler access, indexation, rendering, internal linking, canonical and content-availability checks | Ensure important pages can enter the retrieval systems behind AI answers |
| Entity clarity | Organisation facts, authors, credentials, service taxonomy, locations and profile consistency | Reduce ambiguity and improve confidence in what the business is and why it is credible |
| Citable content | Service pages, comparisons, methodology, original evidence, FAQs, tables and expert-led resources | Give AI systems precise evidence they can quote, cite or use in a recommendation |
| Authority building | Digital PR, expert commentary, source outreach, relevant mentions, reviews and partnerships | Create independent corroboration beyond the claims made on your own website |
| Measurement | Repeated tests, mention share, citation share, accuracy, referral and assisted-conversion reporting | Connect AI visibility improvements to qualified demand rather than vanity screenshots |
Being “optimised for AI” is not one ranking factor. Visibility is the result of a partially observable chain in which your content must first be discovered, then retrieved, then selected as evidence and finally used accurately in the generated answer.
The platform or its search partners need to find the relevant page and understand that it exists.
The page must be relevant enough to the user’s expanded or fan-out queries to enter the candidate source set.
The system chooses sources that provide useful evidence, clarity, authority, freshness and corroboration.
The generated answer must mention, cite or recommend the brand accurately enough to affect the decision.
This is why one successful prompt is not evidence of a successful GEO campaign. AI outputs vary between runs and platforms. We test prompt paraphrases repeatedly, compare the source overlap, validate whether the recommendation is accurate and track change over time.
A result only matters when it becomes more frequent, more accurate and more commercially useful.
The foundations overlap, but the data, crawlers, citations and measurement options differ. Our GEO services prioritise the platforms your customers actually use rather than claiming every assistant behaves the same way.
SEO eligibility remains fundamental. We strengthen unique content, search relevance, supporting media, internal discovery and structured data that matches visible content—without inventing special AI markup.
We check OAI-SearchBot access, improve source clarity and monitor the commercial prompts where ChatGPT searches the web, cites pages or recommends providers.
We analyse the pages and third-party sources used in citation-led answers, then build stronger evidence for category, comparison, problem and product questions.
We combine Bing index visibility with citation monitoring. Where available, Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance data adds URL-level evidence of citation activity.
We test how Gemini represents the brand across research, comparison and recommendation tasks and improve the first- and third-party evidence supporting those answers.
We monitor relevant emerging interfaces without forcing budget into platforms that do not influence your market. Priority follows customer behaviour and measurable opportunity.
For local businesses, accurate profiles, categories, reviews, location pages and trusted local sources shape both conventional visibility and AI-led recommendations.
For ecommerce, product feeds, availability, pricing, identifiers, reviews and merchant data provide structured commercial facts that agents can verify and act upon.
Foundational SEO remains relevant for AI features. Google says there is no special schema, AI text file or required GEO markup for inclusion.

Build the commercial query universe and establish where the brand, competitors and sources currently appear.
Resolve crawl, indexation, rendering, site architecture, entity consistency and analytics gaps.
Rebuild priority commercial pages and create citation-worthy content that adds facts, proof and decision value.
Strengthen third-party corroboration, repeat the query set and prioritise the next experiments from measured movement.
AI platforms expose uneven reporting, so serious measurement combines platform data, referral analytics and repeated controlled testing. We report what can be observed, label what is estimated and avoid pretending the systems are more deterministic than they are.
How frequently the brand appears across the monitored query set compared with named competitors.
How often your domain or controlled assets are linked as supporting sources in generated answers.
How often the business is included when a user asks for a shortlist, comparison or provider recommendation.
Whether the response gets your services, locations, credentials, pricing and differentiators materially correct.
The mix of first-party, editorial, review, directory, forum and partner sources supporting brand visibility.
ChatGPT and AI referral traffic, assisted enquiries, branded demand, conversion quality and influenced pipeline.
| Metric | Method | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt-level visibility | Repeated runs across agreed platforms, locations and prompt paraphrases | Whether visibility is becoming more frequent rather than appearing in one isolated answer |
| Source and citation movement | Citation URL capture, source classification and competitor comparison | Which pages and external sources are gaining influence in generated answers |
| Google AI visibility | Search Console generative-AI reporting where available, plus page and query analysis | Which URLs receive impressions in Google’s AI-led search features |
| Microsoft AI visibility | Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance where available | Which URLs are cited across supported Microsoft AI experiences |
| ChatGPT referral traffic | GA4 referral and UTM analysis, landing-page and conversion tracking | Whether AI search sends qualified visitors and enquiries to the site |
| Commercial impact | CRM source data, assisted conversions, lead quality and branded search trends | Whether improved AI visibility contributes to demand, pipeline or revenue |
Generative engine optimisation is commercially important, but the market is full of unsupported shortcuts. We would rather lose a proposal than charge for work that cannot be defended.
Google explicitly says it ignores llms.txt for Search visibility. We will not present a harmless optional file as a ranking breakthrough. Crawler access, indexability, useful content and authority matter far more.
There is no universal schema type that unlocks AI citations. We use valid structured data where it clarifies visible facts and supports conventional search features, not fabricated markup built around marketing claims.
No legitimate AI optimisation agency controls a model’s output. We can improve the evidence, retrieval eligibility and probability of selection, then measure repeated change. We cannot sell certainty that does not exist.
Commodity content gives search systems little new information and can create scaled-content risk. We prioritise original expertise, useful evidence, commercial completeness and fewer pages with a clear reason to exist.
AI answers are variable. A defensible test uses a fixed query universe, repeated runs, paraphrases, competitor controls and accuracy checks. Anything less is sales theatre.
Google’s own guidance says the opposite. Search eligibility, content quality, authority and user value remain foundational. GEO extends the measurement and source strategy; it does not remove the need to rank and be retrievable.
Generative search is most commercially relevant where buyers research complex choices, compare providers, ask for recommendations or need confidence before making contact.
Law, finance, accountancy, consulting, recruitment and specialist firms that need expertise, credentials and service distinctions represented accurately.
Products competing in alternative, comparison, integration and use-case prompts where shortlist inclusion can directly influence pipeline.
Businesses needing reliable product facts, reviews, comparisons, merchant data and third-party recommendation visibility.
Brands that must be recommended accurately by service, branch, catchment area and customer need across local search experiences.
Organisations where source quality, credentials, authorship, factual accuracy and responsible claims are essential to trust.
Businesses that need consistent entity and service positioning across countries, languages, regional directories and local authority sources.
Large sites with multiple brands, divisions, authors, data systems and governance requirements that create conflicting machine-readable facts.
SEO, PR and content teams that need technical GEO auditing, query-set measurement or specialist delivery without rebuilding their service model.
The right scope depends on the number of markets, competitors, prompt clusters and pages involved. These are our starting levels for UK businesses. Every engagement is confirmed after an initial visibility review.
