SEO and Google Ads can both create financial-services demand, but they should be compared by qualified client outcomes and the firm’s ability to review and convert that demand.
SEO supports durable service visibility
SEO can build recurring visibility for services and useful explanatory content. It requires sustained technical, content and trust work rather than a fixed “three-to-six month” promise.
Google Ads provides speed and targeting control
Paid search can test high-intent demand quickly and target specific service areas or propositions. It also exposes weak landing pages and low-fit queries quickly, so qualification and negative-keyword review matter.
Compare client economics
Do not compare SEO fees with CPC alone. Compare cost per qualified opportunity and acquired client over an appropriate period. Both channels should use accurate, appropriately reviewed claims. See the Google Ads budget guide and SEO checklist.
